Job applications without retyping

Job applications without retyping

Real-life scenario

Jordan is applying to twelve similar roles over two weeks. Each portal asks for the last three employers, exact dates, supervisor names, and “reason for leaving.” Jordan already has that narrative in a CV and in my-id.ca’s structured profile. Instead of retyping from scratch each time, Jordan enables my-id.ca autofill on each employer site, focuses each field, and inserts the same verified answers—then reads the form for anything unique to that company.

How my-id.ca helps

• One profile holds employers, titles, dates, education, skills, and contact details.
• The Chrome extension suggests values field by field after you opt in per site.
• Fill all on this page can speed up long first-pass applications; you still proofread before submit.

Good practice

• Keep a master narrative for “summary” or “why this role” questions in your profile or a doc you paste manually when needed (many of these prompts are free text rather than simple key-value fields).
• After each interview round, update your profile so “current title” and end dates stay honest.
